Assistant Director/ Chief Operations Officer (COO)
We are recruiting an experienced leader in the health care field to join our management team. We are seeking a visionary with strong clinical, financial, human resource and regulatory knowledge.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of operation of hospice program including an inpatient unit.
  • Establish strategies to improve and reach performance standards for the hospice program.
  • Performs analysis of financial and operational data to identify critical variances.
  • Develop strategies and work with clinical team to assure strong patient/family satisfaction.
  • Assures compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.
  • Develops and maintains a strong knowledge base of issues related to hospice program operations.

    Qualifications The qualified candidate will have at least 3 years in hospice management or similar health care experience. The ability to build community partnerships is essential. A Master’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.

    Patient Care Coordinator


    Position Summary: Lutheran Hospice currently recruiting for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our Midlands Office. Responsibilities include leading the day-to-day local operations of the Hospice Midlands office. This individual will assist in planning, implementation, delivery and supervision of direct clinical services provided to patients and families. Assists with visits, call and other nursing duties as needed.

    Position Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed to practice as an RN in SC. Minimum of two years nursing experience. Experience with supervision of staff, documentation requirements, service coordination and case management.

    RN Case Manager


    Position Summary: Lutheran Hospice is currently recruiting for a full-time RN Case Manager for our Midlands and Lowcountry Offices. With the Interdisciplinary Team, the RN Case Manager builds from the resources of the hospice and community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individual and families within their homes and communities.
