The Carolinas Center is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board is chosen using a combination of methods with 10 directors elected by hospice providers members from North and South Carolina and additional members appointed by the Board through an at-large selection process. The Carolinas Center’s governance structure requires that a majority of Board seats be held by hospice providers.
The Carolinas Center centers its work on promoting ethical and effective practices by its members, providing expert technical assistance and forward-looking education to help its members compete in today’s dynamic health care environment. The Carolinas Center works to build trust between its members and within the community it supports.
