Hospice of Rutherford has been providing state-of-the-art end of life care since 1982, and offers our services in Rutherford and McDowell Counties.
Our full range of services include an extensive palliative care program offered since 2004; a highly rated hospice home care program; an 18-suite Hospice House serving Rutherford and surrounding counties; and an extensive grief counseling program.
Our children’s grief camp began in 1995 and is now called Camp Erin™ as the result of a generous grant from the Moyer Foundation. We are now a Kids Path® provider, caring for both pediatric palliative care and hospice patients.
The Hospice of Rutherford Annette Cash Whitaker Center of Living has served as a grief counseling center since 1997, and the 13,000 square foot Carolina Event and Conference Center is the site of end of life continuing education for the community and surrounding counties.
Hospice of Rutherford consistently maintains high utilization rates and ranks as one of the hospices providing the most crisis care for patients in the state.
