Timothy Quill, MD, Georgia and Thomas Gosnell Distinguished Professor of Palliative Care, and Professor of Medicine, Psychiatry, Medical Humanities and Nursing at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, kicks off the main conference mid-day Monday with the Dr. John Lusk Lecture. He is also a presenter for the Physicians Course on Monday.
A second keynote by David Casarett, MD, MA, Chief of Palliative Care, Professor of Medicine, Duke University School of Medicine, will take place on Monday afternoon.
Between keynotes, the Annual Awards Ceremony honors some of the most talented and committed hospice professionals and volunteers in the Carolinas!
